Farmtown Canada

Welcome to Farmtown Canada’s Funny Farm – your best choice for amazing animal interaction at an affordable price!

Farmtown Canada helps children and families to make a memory that will last a lifetime, whether it’s at our camps and programs or during a Farmtown visit. Come experience rustic rural Ontario and learn about farm heritage. Our old farm feel, sites, smells and sounds are for families and kids of all ages. Take a Funny Farm tour with a guide who will help you enjoy fence-free interaction opportunities and hands-on learning with our interesting and comical farm animals. Meet our beautiful Haflinger horses, enjoy a wagon ride or sit a spell while the kids enjoy a hand-led horse ride.

Stop at our log cabin shoppe, Trinkets & Trash, where our interesting antiques and thrift item purchases provide revenue (we are a non-profit charity) and a chance for kids to experience rural farm life while developing confidence, self-esteem and choice-making skills. Our goal is to help kids feel special, accepted, and empowered. Your visit helps us help kids!

Relax under the giant black walnut trees, watch your kids swing and slide, or enjoy a family picnic. Stay for a while and relax. Come for an hour or stay for the better part of the day!

Farmtown Canada books their horses for events, weddings and parties to raise awareness about our charity. Founders “Big George” and “the Boss Lady” Kelly invite you to share the farm, animals and rural relaxation. Get to know the Franklin family and their heart for kids and community. Funny Farm tours are available for school and community groups, bus tours and daycares. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our annual events, including our Farmfest in September!
