Kelly Franklin and her dedicated team at Farmtown provide programs and support to all in South Western Ontario, but particularly invest in disadvantaged girls, teen girls, young adult women and deserving families who cannot afford their ‘horses that heal’ support programs.
Since 2007, Farmtown has engaged in over 10,000 interactions to make great memories and find new hope and healing for a chance at empowered lives.
Founded by Kelly and George Franklin, Farmtown Canada is a CRA-registered charitable organization that has respect and attention of it’s community and partners. It particularly invests in deserving girls, teens and young adult women and their families who need help to afford Farmtown’s ‘horses that heal’ skill-support programs. Involved in anti-violence and-anti domestic human trafficking work (sex slavery), Farmtown Canada believes in prevention before intervention.
With years of experience working with school boards, children’s agencies, parents and caregivers, the Franklins and their horses have seen positive results in the lives of countless children year after year. They are just getting started after 10 years of service with renewed purpose, passion and peace.
One of Farmtown’s goals is to make their equine support, personal growth and learning, peer mentoring, and success programs accessible to kids of all ages and even those who are unable to pay for our services.
Your donation (large or small) will help needy and deserving kids experience the wonder of equine-assisted learning at Farmtown. To make a donation to help a child in need, please click here to give a gift.
Thank you for your support helping kids find a new start in life through Farmtown Canada!
